Generation Europe – The Academy is an international network of organisations working in the field of socio-educational youth work and a funding programme for European cooperation.
Our aim is to ensure social participation for all. Young people are making their voices heard and getting actively involved: in their local communities and beyond.
Together, we are helping to promote active and inclusive European citizenship.

Within our network, young people work together, regardless of their background, their parents’ income or their previous academic performance. Currently, 40 youth organisations from eleven European countries are involved.

Young people in the network form local groups and come together at international meetings. Together, we create opportunities for participation at local and European level.
Esplora works alongside Werkstatt Berufskolleg in Unna (Germany) and Nuoret Kotkat in Oulu (Finland), supporting one another in taking concrete action.
European cooperation must take place at all levels. That is why we are also setting up an international network of youth sector professionals, offering training courses and opportunities for discussion.
